HTML selection contains HTML texts which were selected mainly as code patterns to illustrate some of the HTML capabilities and to suggest a consistent content presentation style providing a uniform navigation throughout the entire web site and facilitating code maintenance and modifications.

HTML is a not a programming but a data presentation language which is interpreted by your browser to form the desired image on your display screen.  So it is safe to experiment with HTML code — in the worst case your browser will crash — but then it can be simply started again.
